Try pushing down with the fingers and not dumping all of your weight onto the heel of your hand, try to make a suction cup with the palm of the hand. Also, keep the core engaged so the hands and feet aren’t sliding away from each other. YGO ultimately succeeded by doing something that other TCGs didn't and that's what I love about it, even if the meta is iffy sometimes but that's a problem with all TCGs.
