Our house is 30 years old and the nail pops are BAD. I've fixed a handful myself: Dig out around the nail pop (gotta make it worse to fix it) Drill in a new screw right next to the nail into stud - close enough that the head of the screw overlaps the nail a bit (this will keep the nail from popping further) Repair drywall with mud as needed.
