I was going to disase resarch facility with my seamoth and then I stuck on land. I go to my base and get pulpation canon and when I get to island my… No Seamoth. And yet, the nav indicator said it was still there. So I paced the beach checking for it, maybe it just wasn't visible. Nope, nothing. So I tried walking away, and boom the nav indicator came back. Walked back over, nothing. It looks like taking the Seamoth out of the water caused it to disappear once it was out of my sight-line.

Using the "warpforward" console command worked since graphic terrain collisions in that game engine were one way. You couldn't drive a vehicle above the terrain to below it but you could do the reverse.

The trick is to use the propulsion cannon, grab a crate and just slowly walk toward it. It will push it right off, I was throwing the crate at the Seamoth lol. I had the blueprint for the cannon but didnt build one so I just generated one with the console to get my seamoth then put the cannon in the trash can to get rid of it :D.

you should be as close to the terrain as possible. it will dig 40 meters 360° all around you. go into the seamoth, swim away from the dug spot, to be sure the double distance, so 80 meters or more if you want to, save game, close it, open it again. the dig command will be undone and the original terrain will be restored when you close and ...

Digging no longer is in the game so that option is cut off. But you could try building nearby the Seamoth (save before attempting) to see if you can "dig" that way. Keep in mind this will permanently alter the terrain. You cannot turn off the beacon and this is a known clipping issue that should eventually be fixed.As soon as you see a couple missing squares of ground, just dive down and you should end up under the map. All you have to do is get floaters, get as close to the island as possible, and release them. It should attach to the Seamoth and make the it jump out of the island. You may have to repair it a bit, but you will have it back. And I don't save often so I was screwed over a seamoth. I got mine stuck next to the aurora and I made a new one. Cut to 15hours later (first playthrough) i think to myself, could I get it unbeached with my prawn suit. you goofed ! Try and keep pushing it. If that doesen't help, you can resort to swim far away and then come back. This will either make the seamoth get stuck in the ground permanently or move it just enough for you to save it. It's a 50/50 but if it's truly stuck then you have no choice. Or use the repulsion cannon.
