Works on hatch or window.The fix is to replace the two relays on the instrument panel circuit board. They are available on Amazon. This is a soldering R/R. They are not plug-in-play. Funnily enough the mk8 minibus (wagon) (euro version) has lights which can be turned off indipendently from a switch they have on each light. The front overhead lamp, and 2nd row lamp and 3rd row cargo lamp are all wired together. Since there not on, this means the problem is the lamp is switched on or the switch is stuck on.
