For some reason it seems that some chargers are behaving oddly in the sense that they flash the red/orange while charging the ring (up to about 95% battery), and at the end switch to showing the regular white blinking light. I have received a brand new ring today. I put it on a charger and after 1h I paired it with the app. The app showed battery at 1%. I connected the charger to a different power source using a different cable - the battery did not start to increase. I then unpaired the ring from the app and connected the charger to yet another power source/cable.
